Casual SEMH Teaching Assistant Location: Burnley Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (Adhoc Basis) Pay: £13.75 per hour Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to work on a casual, adhoc basis at an Alternative Provision in Burnley. This role is ideal for individuals who have experience working with challenging behaviour or those looking to develop their skills in a rewarding, supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Supporting pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation Working closely with teaching staff and support teams to create a positive learning environment Promoting engagement, motivation and progress for all pupils Requirements: Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or additional needs A calm, empathetic and confident approach Flexibility to work on an adhoc basis A valid DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one) This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact and gain valuable experience in a unique educational setting.
