Our client, based in Reading, is currently recruiting for a Homeownership Officer on a Permanent basis.
The start date will be during December. The salary for this position is £36,986.
The ideal candidate will be CIH or RPM qualified or committed to completing the qualification.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Managing a diverse leasehold portfolio, ensuring full compliance with lease covenants
2. Leading on Section 20 and QLTA consultations, reviewing observations and ensuring statutory compliance
3. Optimising income through effective service charge management, including setting, scrutiny, arrears recovery, and major works recharging
4. Representing the organisation at the First Tier Tribunal, investigate subletting fraud, and work with residents’ associations on estate issues and planned maintenance
5. Auditing service charge costs, liaise with finance teams, and resolve complaints and enquiries promptly and accurately
Experience required:
6. Experience leading key leasehold processes such as section 20 and QLTA consultations
7. Experience managing a leasehold portfolio
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
8. Proficient in using Microsoft Office programmes including Excel
9. Knowledge and experience of applying Commonhold and Leasehold law
Working hours:
10. 37 hours a week
11. Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm
