Job Details
* Type: Full-Time Permanent
* Title: Logistics Coordinator
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm or 6:00am to 4:00pm (with 1 in 3 Saturdays until 12:00pm)
* Location: Office-based in Croydon
Role Responsibilities
* Planning and scheduling orders using the in-house system and managing inventory with Maximo (IBM).
* Managing and utilizing the haulage fleet effectively.
* Processing customer orders promptly against forecasted usage, ensuring stock availability.
* Serving as a key contact for customers and drivers.
* Maintaining the accuracy of our internal database related to customer orders.
* Planning routes for the fleet, focusing on cost efficiency and effectiveness.
* Monitoring transport progress, advising clients at key milestones, and ensuring schedules are met.
* Ensuring the Goods-In team receives correct quantities of materials ordered.
* Demonstrating attention to detail, especially in order management.
* Applying previous logistics, transport, or fleet management experience.
* Possessing good geographical knowledge or experience in scheduling/route planning.
* Holding a full UK driver's license, necessary for the role and travel requirements.
* Managing your time effectively and using your initiative.
