Corporate and Commercial Banking: The CCB team acts as a strategic partner, offering local expertise combined with the global reach of the Santander Group to help businesses grow and manage their finances effectively. Services include managing assets, acquiring funding, trade finance solution, and online banking platforms. As an apprentice you will need to have the ability to truly listen to clients and colleagues, build lasting relationships, have excellent numerical and writing skill. You will have a highly collaborative approach to work and the confidence to speak up with great ideas, embrace change and seek innovative new ways of doing things.

As one of our Corporate & Commercial Banking apprentices, you’ll get the chance to help our mid-market, large corporate and global customers prosper.
You’ll undertake three -month placements in Relationship Banking, Chief Operating Office and Structured & Specialist Finance teams. All will provide a wealth of exposure and the experience, skills and confidence you need to forge an exceptional career.
Your final -month placement will be shaped by you and your future career interests and could be in any area across the Corporate & Commercial bank.
Over months, you’ll work with and learn from a collaborative and highly skilled team of specialists, as you develop the knowhow behind building successful businesses for our customers and a successful career for you.

Experience and Education
1. Maths and English GCSES's grade or above (Required)
2. A minimum of UCAS points (top A Level grades or equivalent, excluding General Studies and Extended Project) from the new UCAS scoring methodology or equivalent, including further education qualifications (Required)
3. An actively collaborative and intellectually curious approach to work(preferred)
4. A flair for seeing the small details, as well as the bigger picture (Preferred)
5. An ability to build strong relationships and influence colleagues at all levels (preferred)
6. The confidence to share ideas and embrace new ways of working (preferred)
