Pubs Marketing Manager
* Location: Blandford (This role will involve travel around the UK)
* Job Type: Temp to Perm
* Hourly Rate: £20.15 - £23.08 depending on experience
* Hours: 38 hours a week with unsociable hours to be expected
We are seeking a dynamic Pubs Marketing Manager to drive operational marketing and merchandising standards across our Managed Houses and supporting the estate. This role involves enhancing sales, covers, occupancy, and profitability through innovative marketing strategies, ranging from digital to print. The ideal candidate will ensure that all promotional activities and activations are delivered efficiently and effectively, aligning with operational needs and gaining support from the operations team.
Day‑to‑day of the role:
* Lead and champion a culture of Guest‑Obsessed marketing within the Managed and BP Ops teams.
* Provide insights on key opportunities to drive covers, SPH (Sales Per Head), and RPHL (Revenue Per Head).
* Design and strategise on all Creative, POS, and Digital aspects in collaboration with the Digital Marketing and Communications Manager.
* Conduct competitor trade visits and perform ad‑hoc sales analysis, including accommodation venues.
* Share results and insights internally, considering the wider socio‑economic landscape to enhance marketing strategies.
* Collaborate with various heads and managers to align marketing strategies with company goals, focusing on digital marketing, beer brand promotion, and overall guest experience.
* Ensure marketing consistency across all channels with a guest‑centric focus and develop robust relationships with the operations team to maintain high standards in marketing presentations across all pubs.
* Act as a key liaison between marketing and operations to ensure alignment and effective communication of marketing strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Degree in Marketing or a related field; additional marketing qualifications are a plus.
* Strong experience in marketing, with a strong background in the hospitality industry.
* Proven ability to present and relay complex data in an easy‑to‑understand manner.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive marketing initiatives within a guest‑focused culture.
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with various internal teams and external agencies.
