Groundworker– Anchor Repairs & Property Services
Location: based from Seaham, County Durham covering various sites (travel required)
Contract: Full-time, permanent

About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Groundworker to join our Anchor Repairs & Property Services (ARPS) team in the North East. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality external ground repairs across our locations, ensuring all work is safe, precise, and completed to the highest standard.
What you’ll do:
* Lay and level all types of flagging with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Install, repair and maintain drainage systems, including pipes, manholes and stormwater management.
* Carry out boundary brick wall repairs.
* Mix and pour concrete for footpaths and other structures.
* Operate groundworking machinery and tools, including compactors, mixers and CAT scanners.
* Follow repair specifications to ensure correct completion of works.
* Work closely with Anchor and Equans managers, surveyors and site teams to deliver projects efficiently.
* Maintain high health and safety standards at all times.
What you’ll bring
* Relevant NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Groundworking or a related trade.
* At least 2 years’ experience in groundworking within the construction industry.
* Skilled in operating machinery, tools and equipment.
* A strong awareness of site health and safety practices.
* Physically fit and able to carry out manual labour.
* A valid CSCS card and a clean UK driving licence.
