Mission Description
Senior Product Support Engineer Wolverhampton: On Site with some Hybrid working by agreement.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver technical advice and problem resolution for in-service equipment (both externally and internally) and new product introductions.
* Monitor product reliability, identify fault trends, and drive systemic improvements.
* Develop robust troubleshooting strategies at the system level.
* Prepare and deliver engaging training material for Aircraft Operators.
* Collaborate with Technical Publications to ensure accuracy of technical manuals and bulletins.
* Support development of repair schemes and management of reusable parts.
* Contribute to maintenance planning, direct maintenance cost analysis, and in-service readiness.
* Represent Safran in technical reviews with customers and provide expertise to our Customer Response Centre.
Qualifications
* Mechanical or electrical engineering background (Essential).
* Practical/hands on experience (Desirable).
* Knowledge of hydro-mechanical or electro-mechanical systems (Essential).
* Exposure to Highlift/Nacelle Actuation or Military systems (Desirable).
* Strong analytical and computer literacy skills (Essential).
* Experience with ILS/LSA methodologies (Desirable).
* Ability to think globally regarding the impact of product changes.
