Your Role as an English ECT
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire students to think critically about literature and language while nurturing a love for reading and writing.
- Work closely with an experienced mentor and participate in regular training to refine your teaching practice.
- Encourage creativity, debate, and analysis both in and beyond the classroom.
- Contribute to extracurricular opportunities such as book clubs, creative writing workshops, and theatre trips.
