Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Class 2 HGV Driver role based in Loanhead, Scotland. The role involves the safe loading, transportation, and unloading of skips in accordance with industry regulations and company policies. The driver will ensure timely deliveries and collections while maintaining the highest standards of safety, customer service, and vehicle maintenance. Regular inspection and upkeep of vehicles are also essential tasks associated with this position.
Qualifications
Valid Class 2 (HGV Category C) driving license and Driver CPC certification.
Experience in operating HGV vehicles and knowledge of vehicle safety checks and maintenance.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations applicable to the waste management industry.
Effective communication and customer service skills to interact with clients and team members.
Ability to manage time effectively and work in a punctual and organized manner.
Familiarity with the Edinburgh and surrounding area is advantageous.
Previous experience in waste management or skip hire operations is preferred but not essential.
