Bid and Project Manager Location: Crawley Hybrid role– with the expectation of 3 days in the office. Our Opportunity We have a great opportunity for a Bid and Project Manager to manage the service support aspect of a major programme within our Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) domain who provide industry leading capability and upgrades for Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAV) and Electronic Warfare(EV) for UK and Export markets. You will be responsible for providing core project management and team leadership in the delivery of critical work packages in support of the Crowsnest programme. You will report directly into the VP for the programme and have matrix management responsibilities. As well as this, you will cover Bid Management for bids associated with Crowsnest support. In addition to the above, you will also be responsible for the management and delivery of all scope, financials and scheduling across materials and labour for all support and services associated with the programme. This includes a support contract, a retrofit programme, and design and manufacturing repairs. Other key activities include: Managing activities with the engineering, production, procurement, quality, and asset management teams. Deliver the key results and performance metrics, including order intake, sales, gross margin and cash. Ensure all business planning and reporting is published in accordance with Business directives Manage all Control Account stakeholders; ensuring strong communications are established and maintained About You You will have Strong skills, experience and knowledge of project management and/or extensive experience within Service Support Great interpersonal skills A good understanding of financial concepts & accountability A strong technical background Desirable: previously worked within support and services for example working with logistics, spares and repairs, obsolescence and being involved in technical management.
