The Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you'll shape and deliver a Communications and Engagement Strategy aligned with our 2025–2030 corporate plan.
You'll be responsible for:
* Media and Public Relations:
Securing positive coverage across print, broadcast, and digital media
* Digital Engagement:
Managing our website and social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Viva Engage)
Internal Communications:
Inspiring and informing staff across a dispersed workforce
* Tenant Engagement:
Producing stimulating content and amplifying tenant voices
* Partnership Development:
Nurturing strategic relationships and drafting funding bids
* Events:
Leading promotion and communications for conferences, staff events, and awards
This is a standalone role offering autonomy, creativity, and the chance to make a real impact. You will manage freelancers providing services such as photography, videography and graphic design.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a candidate who meets the following essential criteria:
* A relevant third-level qualification or equivalent experience
* A recognised professional qualification (e.g. CIPR or CIM diploma) [desirable]
* Minimum 3 years' experience in communications, PR, marketing, or journalism
* Proven ability in media relations, content creation, and strategic planning
* Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills
* Proficiency in digital tools such as MS 365, Canva, and social media platforms
* A full driver's licence and access to a car
* Desirable attributes include basic skills in photography, videography, and graphic design.
