What's involved with this role: Temporary Asset Management Support Officer/Admin – Housing Job Ref: NW Leicestershire TCL 5246828 Pay Rate: Up to £13.74 per hour PAYE depending on experience Hours per week: 36.25 Monday – Friday 8.45am to 5.00pm Role Length: This opening assignment is for 2-3 months City: Coalville, Leicestershire The job involves responding to telephone calls from council tenants and the scheduling of repairs work to their council properties. The successful candidate will be given training to help you with diagnosing repairs and scheduling both simple and more complex repairs, however experience within the field of Housing Repairs would be advantageous. They will also be responsible for the administrative support functions needed for the successful delivery of the repairs service. Key Responsibilities: Effective delivery of internal policies, procedures and agreements to support the delivery of asset management and property maintenance services. Administration of a comprehensive performance and financial management framework to support the delivery of asset management and property maintenance services. Help ensure that financial and corporate governance controls and are implemented whilst seeking areas for ongoing improvement. Help ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and statutory requirements governing areas of responsibility. To provide telephone call handling and repairs and maintenance diagnosis services.
