Overview
Exchange Events is seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Assistant to support our digital marketing activities across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will assist in executing influencer outreach, content creation, email and social media campaigns, and support strategic partnerships and general marketing operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Influencer Outreach
* Research and identify potential influencers and brand ambassadors across platforms.
* Manage outreach, build relationships, and negotiate collaborations.
* Track influencer content, performance, and campaign ROI.
* Supply influencers with required assets and information.
2. Content Creation
* Use basic design tools (e.g., Canva) to create social media and email content.
* Import confirmed content into branded assets.
* Edit existing imagery to update event information.
3. Partnership Assistance
* Stay updated on day-to-day activities with third-party partners.
* Ensure partners have current assets, promotional materials, and discount codes.
* Track partnership promotions and report back to the marketing team.
4. General Marketing Support
* Assist in planning and executing promotional campaigns and product/event launches.
* Maintain organized campaign calendars and deadlines.
* Support the wider team with ad-hoc marketing tasks.
* Report key wins/losses to the Digital Marketing Manager.
5. Email Marketing
* Create and schedule engaging, on-brand marketing emails.
* Collaborate with design and copy teams to ensure quality content and visuals.
* Monitor metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions) and suggest improvements.
* Enforce and monitor customer acquisition campaigns.
6. Social Media
* Schedule and publish content across all social platforms.
* Coordinate with the wider team for brand-aligned visuals and tone.
* Track and report on engagement metrics and audience growth.
Key Requirements
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Familiarity with digital platforms (social media, email marketing tools, Canva or similar).
* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Creative mindset and willingness to learn.
* Team-oriented attitude with a proactive approach.
Desirable Skills
* Basic knowledge of marketing analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
* Experience using tools like Canva, Mailchimp, or Hootsuite.
* Interest in events, partnerships, or influencer marketing.
