Support Worker required for a young adult with a diagnosis of Autism and Learning Difficulties
The rate of pay: £16.49/hour.
Hours
18 Hours per week
Fridays 15:00-21:00 (6 hours)
Saturdays Waking Night Shift 21:00-09:00 (12 hours)
More shifts are available at various times during the week to help with cover for annual leave/sickness/etc.

About
The young adult is ambulant but requires supervision. He lacks social interaction and communication skills, but he can communicate basic needs and wants verbally.
His interests include: Going for drives, walks, play parks, swimming, gym, playing with a ball, watching TV.
He is generally good-humoured and very friendly. However, he can suffer times of extreme agitation when he can self-injure. This can be very challenging to deal with.

Requirements
· Genuine interest in supporting Young Person's with Additional Needs
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Reliable and trustworthy
· Flexible
· Able to cope with challenging situations and behaviour
· PVG Scheme Member or willing to join
· Car Driver with full clean UK/EU license to drive a Motability car
· Experience in care/support work (at least 1 year)
Experience working night shift (preferred)
