Role Description
This is a contract-based role for a Fire Alarm Installation and Service Engineer located in the Greater Glasgow & midlands areas. Responsibilities include installing, servicing, and maintaining fire alarm systems and related safety equipment. You will be required to troubleshoot system issues, conduct regular inspections, and ensure full compliance with fire safety standards and regulations. The role also includes collaborating with clients and team members to deliver professional and efficient services.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and servicing fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and fire safety equipment.
* Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and test fire safety systems and related components effectively.
* Knowledge of fire safety standards, industry regulations, and compliance requirements.
* Strong technical skills with hands‑on experience in system wiring and equipment installation.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills for interacting with clients and team members.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
* Relevant qualifications in Fire Engineering or related technical certifications are an advantage.
* Experience working in the fire safety industry in a similar role is preferred.
* Valid driver’s license for travel to client sites as required.
