Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated qualified Electrician to join Walsall College as a Lecturer in Electrical Installation who will deliver motivating and inspiring teaching and learning to unleash the potential of our students. This is a full time job however, fractional or hourly paid applications will also be considered.

You will hold appropriate electrical qualifications and teaching qualifications* are preferred i.e. DTLLS, Cert. Ed/PGCE, or equivalent. However, this role will also be an opportunity for a highly knowledgeable and experienced person working in industry to move into a Further Education and skills setting. (*funded and supported Teacher training will be provided)

Experience in delivering Solar PV, EV charging and wiring regulations would be advantageous.

Relevant industry experience would be highly beneficial and a relevant teaching qualification with funding options will be provided to support someone from industry in succeeding in a new to teaching role. In this role you will deliver effective learning, teaching and assessment that provides a high-quality learner experience which is critical to their success.
