Salary: Starting from £12.21 per hour - Plus overtime
Full-time – Monday to Friday, 9am to 4:30pm
Location: Warrington – WA3 6PL

Job Role
Catalyst Choices are seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker/Care Giver to join our team. You’ll play a vital role on our day services supporting individuals with their day-to-day needs, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing, from our Day Centre based in Warrington.
Responsibilities
* Providing person-centred outcome-driven care for our clients, including all regulated activities, whether as group support or 1:1. This will include adherence to company policies which align to CQC regulations
* Building meaningful relationships, planning and supporting engaging activities, and ensuring each person receives personalised care that reflects their choices and preferences
* Deliver genuine and exceptional care for all of our service users
* Help build strong and trusting relationships with service users, ensuring the best experience possible and informing managers
* Work creatively and flexibly to ensure service users have what they need
* Support health and safety, addressing physical, mental and social needs and watching for signs of ill health or unhappiness
* Develop and maintain Care Plans with involvement from the people you’re supporting, their relatives and other health professionals
* Maintain accurate client records and ensure personalised plans, including pledges from you and to you
* Carry out regular checks on individuals in your care at agreed intervals with the wider team, including management; ensure clear handover at the start and end of every shift

* Help build strong and trusting relationships with our people in care, ensuring the best experience possible and keeping managers informed
* Work creatively and flexibly to ensure our service users have everything they need
* The health and safety of people in your care is the most important thing
* Ensure care plans are developed and maintained with involvement from the people supported, their relatives and health professionals
* Maintain accurate client records and personalised plans
* Ensure clear handover and full briefing of staff at shift changes

What do you need to join us?
* Previous experience in care or a related field is desirable but not essential
* A caring, empathetic nature and a genuine passion for helping others
* Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
* Willingness to learn and grow within the role
* Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
* Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism
