Role Purpose We're a passionate team dedicated to crafting high-quality safety footwear—and now we're looking for an IT Manager to help keep our tech just as solid as our boots. As our IT Manager, you’ll take the lead on managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring our systems are secure, reliable, and ready to support our day-to-day operations. From overseeing cybersecurity to rolling out tech improvements, you’ll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly and preparing us for future growth. Core Responsibilities · IT Infrastructure and Operations Management · Cybersecurity and Compliance · Project Management and Digital Transformation · Service Management · Strategic IT Alignment Key Activities & KPI’s 1. IT Infrastructure & Operations Management · Manage and maintain physical and cloud-based IT infrastructure (Azure, servers, networks, endpoints). · Oversee LAN/WAN networks, wireless connectivity, and IT security measures. · Ensure all IT systems remain secure, compliant, and optimized for performance. · Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal teams. 2. Cybersecurity & Compliance · Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices, including patch management, vulnerability tracking, and threat mitigation. · Work towards and maintain Cyber Essentials Plus (CE) certification. · Conduct regular risk assessments, security training, and compliance audits. 3. Project Management & Digital Transformation · Lead IT projects, including ERP and CRM system upgrades, software integrations, and cloud migrations. · Manage the adoption and optimization of M365 tools, Power BI, and automation solutions. · Oversee the implementation of new technologies and digital initiatives to improve business processes. · Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for IT-driven efficiency improvements. 4. Service Management & Vendor Coordination · Manage third-party IT service providers and MSPs to ensure service excellence. · Oversee IT procurement, licensing, and contract management. · Monitor and report on IT performance, uptime, and service levels. 5. Business Engagement & Strategic IT Alignment · Collaborate with business leaders to align IT strategy with company goals. · Drive user adoption and training programs for new systems and technologies. · Provide insights and reporting to support data-driven decision-making. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): IT services meet defined performance metrics and support daily operations reliably. Infrastructure is stable and aligned with business needs, with high uptime and availability. Systems remain within supported lifecycles, properly licensed, and compliant. Cybersecurity standards and certification requirements are actively supported. Disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident response plans are current and tested. Company-wide IT projects are delivered on time, to spec, and within budget.
