We are currently seeking a Finance Administrator to work within the University’s Finance team, contributing to the smooth running of the sales ledgers and credit control processes with a particular focus on student finance.
Within this role the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the student finance sales ledger together with carrying out credit control procedures, alongside performing other sales related reconciliations and tasks on a rota‑basis. The finance team consists of around twenty members, offering a close‑knit, skilled working environment.
Responsibilities
* Maintain the student finance sales ledger.
* Carry out credit control procedures.
* Perform sales related reconciliations and tasks on a rota basis.
* Support the Finance team with various ad‑hoc duties.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working within a finance environment and in a customer‑facing role.
* Excellent numeracy and IT skills, with strong attention to detail.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
* Ability to tailor verbal and written communications to be well understood by all parties.
This position is a fixed‑term, 12‑month, part‑time contract of 21 hours per week (Monday 6 hours, Tuesday to Thursday 5 hours each day). Working pattern can be discussed with the successful candidate.
We can offer a hybrid working arrangement, with a minimum of three days a week on‑campus based in Falmouth.
