Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist with knowledge in the management of patients with a Palliative Care diagnosis.
You will be expected to work as part of the Specialist Palliative Care team to deliver high quality, evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to individuals experiencing functional difficulties related to life-limiting diseases.

Applications are invited from occupational therapists with experience in palliative care and a broad clinical knowledge, interested in working within a service that supports professional development and is committed to patient care and service improvement.
The post involves traveling across Carmarthenshire and possibly other areas to visit patients at home and between sites. Mileage allowance is available, and a lease car scheme is offered.
Main duties include:
* Providing high-quality occupational therapy interventions
* Participating in service development
* Traveling to patient locations as needed
You will have a buddy during your initial weeks, monthly formal supervision, and an annual Personal Development review. Hywel Dda offers diverse learning opportunities, flexible working, and support for postgraduate studies. Remote and flexible working arrangements are encouraged.
The role requires participation in a flexible 7-day service rota. Welsh language skills are desirable but not mandatory.
