Maths Teacher – Alternative Provision – Wolverhampton
Are you a skilled Maths Teacher with the ability to inspire students who have faced barriers to learning? This Alternative Provision in Wolverhampton is looking for a passionate Maths Teacher to join their team, supporting Key Stage 3 and 4 students who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education.
As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging, creative, and accessible lessons to small groups of students with a range of social, emotional, and behavioural needs. You will be supported by experienced Teaching Assistants and a leadership team that values collaboration, consistency, and care. Strong behaviour management and the ability to build positive relationships are essential in this rewarding role.
Job Role:
Teaching Maths to small groups of Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
Using creative strategies to engage reluctant learners and build confidence.
Managing behaviour effectively to create a calm, structured classroom environment.
Working closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff to meet individual needs.
Tracking progress and adapting lessons to ensure every student can succeed.
