Role Info
Following Capgemini UK’s rapid growth and success in the UK life science industry and in conjunction with our partners in Capgemini’s market unit and associated business lines, we are seeking to appoint a Client Manager to lead the commercial focus on Capegmini Engineering’s medtech portfolio within its Life Science industry sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the fastest growing UK sector in Capgemini and develop your career as part of a growing team where you would receive support from sales, solutioning, engagement, bid and delivery teams in addition to key (sales) training and development activities.
Key responsibilities are defined as follows:
1. Lead Capgemini Engineering UK focus on building the sales pipeline(bookings) and revenue growth for medtech clients in the UK through prosecuting effective sales strategies and plans (new business development and existing client management) to meet targets assigned by Capgemini Engineering’s MALS leadership.
2. Focus on an initial portfolio of Elekta, Smith and Nephew, Philipps healthcare and GE Healthcare.
3. Collaborate and bring key parties together within Capgemini UK (business lines, geographies, market unit) to drive booking and revenue growth for Capgemini Engineering in these (and similar) accounts.
4. Create bookings and revenue growth from Capgemini Engineering’s digital and engineering offer and services portfolio.
5. Be an advocate and create a deep understanding of Capgemini offers and services as they relate to:
6. medtech product life cycle regulatory, process and compliance challenges
7. the role of digital trends, challenges and changes in this industry sector
8. the value of making devices smart and connected in addition to outcome driven services via data insight.
Desirable capabilities:
9. Bring experience of working in medtech or connected health areas either in commercial or a delivery role, ideally with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience.
10. Strong consultative selling or delivery experience including exposure to sizeable deals and complex programmes in the MedTech Industry.
11. A track record of relationship building with senior client stakeholders and CxO’s.
12. Strong domain understanding of MedTech industry, its challenges and key drivers impacting the customer in this segment.
13. Industry insight on the role of digital, strategic advisory partners and potential to exploit next generation digital solutions.
14. Experience of managing a (sales) target and planning with discipline in account forecasting and performance reporting.
15. Ability to collaborate with cross-geo and global teams for joint pursuits.
16. Ability to innovatively and constructively challenge the status quo to drive forward the business.
17. Able to operate with a high degree of independence as well as being part of a team.
18. Experienced in opportunity qualification and bid management disciplines, controls & winning sales plans.
19. Knowledge of the digital industry, key players, points of differentiations, offers and broad capabilities.
