Position Overview: As a Spanish Teacher, you will teach Spanish to students from KS3 to KS5, promoting fluency in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension. You will encourage cultural awareness, deliver engaging lessons, and create a classroom environment that fosters a genuine interest in Spanish language and culture. Collaboration with colleagues, participation in professional development, and involvement in extracurricular activities are also key aspects of this role.
Responsibilities:
* Teach Spanish language and culture using interactive, student-centered methods
* Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learners
* Develop engaging lesson plans and assessments
* Create an inclusive, respectful, and stimulating classroom environment
* Support the development of written and oral communication skills
* Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities
* Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress
* Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary programs
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or related field
* Certification in Teaching Spanish (QTS or equivalent)
* Experience teaching Spanish at KS3 to KS5
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to motivate and inspire students
* Experience with classroom technology integration is a plus
* Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish
