Our nurses are veterinary professionals and we ensure that they fulfil their clinical potential. A team of Receptionists supports the client journey, freeing up Nurses to lead and manage nurse clinics and perform schedule 3 procedures. The opportunity includes clinical coaching; experience or willingness to learn in this area will be advantageous. You’ll be joining a strong, inclusive clinical team with mentors available to support you.
This is a full-time role which can be worked over 4 or 5 days. Some weekend shifts will be required and will be discussed at interview. No OOHs.
Location: Racecourse Retail Park inside the Pets At Home store. Good facilities, parking, and access to amenities.
Salary: competitive from £26,000 up to £30,000 depending on experience. Benefits include pension, healthcare, paid memberships, career progression, and exclusive discounts (up to 20% at Pets at Home). Welcome bonus is available for direct candidates; terms and conditions apply.
Requirements: excellent customer service and communication skills, solid veterinary nursing experience, and a genuine interest in animal welfare with enjoyment of variety from clients and colleagues alike.
