Relief Chef Manager
Mobile‑based role covering Kent locations (ME19, ME1, ME3, ME10, TN23, BR1, DA11, DA1, RH20). 40 hours per week, 24/7 operation in select sites. Salary: £40,000. Own transport required, mileage paid.

Responsibilities
* Plan and execute menus tailored to each location’s style and customer preferences.
* Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring high‑quality dishes and monitoring wastage and portion control.
* Recruit, train, and supervise all kitchen and front‑of‑house staff; provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
* Monitor and manage inventory, maintaining stock levels and ordering supplies sensibly.
* Interact with customers to understand catering needs and maintain open communication channels.
* Support the head chef on health and safety compliance and food safety protocols.
* Develop and manage kitchen budgets, report financial performance, and implement cost‑saving measures without compromising quality.
* Stay updated on culinary trends, incorporating new ideas into menus.
* Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and food preparation processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
* Proven experience commensurate with the role.
* Excellent creative culinary skills.
* Leadership and team management abilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in food cost management.
* Knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations.
* Ability to adapt and work in a fast‑paced environment.
