1 x 14.8 hour Health Care Support Worker for Huntly Secondary Care Hub
Band 3 Health Care Support Worker post to be worked over 2 days.
A senior HCSW post has arisen in Ambulatory Care within Huntly Community Secondary Care Hub (Basic Observations, Phlebotomy, and Urinalysis) for Secondary Care patients in the community.
There are multiple hubs across both Aberdeen City and the Shire; this post will require flexibility but will be predominantly based in Huntly.
Access to a car and driving licence are essential, as is a willingness to travel to the various hubs when required.
We are looking for hard-working individuals who can work well under pressure due to the high volume of work and patients that pass through our Hubs on a daily basis. Candidates should be forward-thinking and adaptable with the ability to prioritise their own workload. Individuals will be expected to help plan and carry out the day-to-day running of the Hub with remote support from the already well-established team. Candidates should be motivated, trustworthy, communicate well with others, and be aware of their own limitations. Experience in Venepuncture would be advantageous, but full training will be given.
There will be some lone working involved, and experience in managing one's own workload would be advantageous.
