In this role, you will teach learners studying Electrical Installation qualifications. You will deliver a mix of classroom-based theory and industry-relevant practical sessions, helping learners develop the skills & knowledge to succeed in the electrical industry.
Alongside your teaching duties, you will receive full teacher training and work towards recognised teaching qualifications, with full support & CPD provided. You will also be assigned an experienced mentor from day one, helping you build confidence and develop your skills as an educator. You will coach, mentor and support students, helping them succeed in their studies.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Electrician holding a Level 3 Electrical qualification (NVQ, Advanced Craft or equivalent). An apprenticeship background, AM2 and Inspection & Testing (2391/2392) are highly desirable. Your background can be domestic, commercial or industrial. Previous teaching experience is not required, as full training and qualifications are provided.
