Test Engineer - Personal Safety Team (PPE) - Future Talent Pipeline

We are seeking a Test Engineer to join our Personal Safety Team. In this role you will work with a variety of PPE products, from condoms and helmets to safety goggles, ensuring they meet required safety and quality standards. You will operate and maintain testing machinery, record detailed results, and liaise with clients to provide testing outcomes.

About you:
* Previous experience as a test engineer or mechanical discipline and/or Mechanical Engineering qualification.
* Ability to build relationships with clients, understand their requirements, and deliver work autonomously.
* Knowledge of Lean culture is beneficial.
* Strong interpersonal skills to confidently liaise with clients and advise on work status.
* Drive for development, opportunity to develop technical skills across a wide variety of labs and equipment.
* Resourceful and solution‑oriented.
* Proactive, flexible, with great attention to detail.
* Knowledge of ISO standards such as ISO 17025 is beneficial.
