Overview
A global leader in ICT development seeks a Senior Systems Performance Architect to lead OS system performance, modelling and simulation for next-generation CPU and mobile operating system architectures. The role focuses on identifying execution hotspots, defining performance metrics, software–hardware co-design and optimisation, and enhancing product performance and energy efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Lead advanced OS system performance modelling and simulation efforts for next-generation CPU and mobile OS architectures.
* Identify execution hotspots and performance metrics to drive software-hardware co-design and optimisation.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to improve product performance and energy efficiency.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree (or equivalent) or higher.
* Extensive experience with chip performance, CPU microarchitectures, modelling, and simulation.
* Proven ability in software–hardware optimisation and an understanding of chip design processes.
* Hands-on experience with system performance modelling and simulation tools (e.g., gem5, QEMU, etc.).
* Exposure to software–hardware co-design methodologies is a bonus.
