The Team The PIC team advises across a broad range of sectors including infrastructure, utilities, real estate development, and energy. The firm has been recognised globally for its activity in energy M&A and is consistently involved in many of the UK's most significant renewable transactions. Clients include developers, funders, investors, and buyers/sellers of major energy projects. The Role As a Senior Associate, you will: Lead on complex non-contentious construction matters in the future energy sector, with Partner support where appropriate Manage and deepen key client relationships Supervise and mentor Associates, Trainees, and Paralegals Contribute to strategic planning and business development activity in the Bristol market and nationally Play a leading role in tenders and client pitches Help drive the continued development of the team's renewable energy offering
Skills and Experience The ideal candidate will: Be a qualified solicitor (SRA or equivalent) with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience Have strong experience in non-contentious construction and/or projects work, ideally with a renewable energy or infrastructure focus Be confident working with industry-standard contracts, such as NEC and JCT Have excellent technical, drafting and communication skills Be commercially minded and capable of operating autonomously Demonstrate experience in mentoring or supervising junior team members Show the ambition and leadership qualities needed to help shape the Bristol offering
