Overview
As a Customer Team Member, you'll be part of a friendly team that's dedicated to helping our customers. We'll look to you to provide excellent service on the tills and the shop floor, while also performing a wide range of other store tasks like re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.

Responsibilities
* Friendly and thoughtful service – put customers first in everything you do: respond to queries, champion Co-op products and Membership, and deliver a great shopping experience
* Work together to make everyone's day better – support store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members
* Keep the store safe and legal – keep shelves stocked and ensure prices, dates, and temperatures are as they should be
* Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural, share experiences with colleagues so everyone learns together
* Support your local community – get involved in activities and events
Qualifications
* A genuine care for the needs of customers and members
* Great people skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
* A positive approach to change and problem solving
* The flexibility to work a range of different shifts
Pay, Contract and Working Pattern
* Pay: £12.60 per hour
* Contract: 12 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part time
* Working pattern: varied shifts including afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview
