The Opportunity Join our team as a Vehicle Technician, ensuring the reliability of our fleet and equipment. Your expertise will drive safety, efficiency, and seamless operations. Key Responsibilities Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles and plant equipment to the highest standards. Conduct inspections, brake and smoke tests, consulting the Workshop Supervisor before starting work or ordering parts. Diagnose faults and update the Workshop Supervisor on progress and requirements. Complete job cards and inspection sheets via tablet, ensuring all time is logged accurately. Quarantine and label defective parts/tools, reporting to the Workshop Supervisor. Follow Health and Safety guidelines, ISO9001 standards, and environmental policies. Promote a safe work environment by reporting hazards, incidents, and near-misses. Skills & Experience Strong understanding of motor mechanics and vehicle maintenance. Familiarity with workshop operations and SAP systems. Experience in vehicle/plant maintenance, ideally in logistics. LGV Motor Mechanics Level 3 certification (essential); Forklift certification (desirable). Behaviours Proactive, self-motivated, and organised. Team player with a positive, flexible attitude. Detail-oriented problem solver with a professional approach.
