Principal Planning Officer South East England Up to £70 per hour - After Tax and NI - £6,500 - for 12 months its £78k in your pocket or £134k pro rata. 12 Month Rolling Contract Start within 3–4 weeks - happy to wait 3 months for the right fit of candidate - so If you are a permanent employee thinking to take the jump this one is for you. Attendance once every 2-3 weeks with the rest being remote working. I'm currently working with a Local Authority in Surrey that is looking to appoint an experienced Principal Planning Officer to support their Development Management team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior planner seeking exposure to high-profile and complex projects, with a particular focus on: Major planning applications and strategic development schemes and preparing and presenting committee reports,Managing planning appeals and Public Inquiries and working upto schemes over 450 units.
