Social Worker – Locality Team – Matlock, UK – Earning up to £35 per hour

This role offers a competitive rate of up to £35 per hour for candidates with a robust track record, and it spans an initial 3 months with potential for extension. You will join a dedicated team working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, tackling vital child and family protection cases.

What you will do:
* Manage a caseload of Single Assessments, Children in Need (CIN), and Child Protection (CP) cases, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support and intervention.
* Conduct thorough assessments and develop care plans tailored to each child’s needs.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive strategies are in place for the welfare of children and families.
* Engage in court work and handle legal processes as required, showcasing your expertise and commitment to child welfare.
* Uphold best practices and adhere to statutory regulations, representing the team with professionalism and integrity.
This advert is for a Social Worker in Derbyshire County Council’s Amber Valley Locality. As a part of this busy children and families team, your minimum of 3 years’ post-qualifying experience in frontline social work, including court work, will be pivotal.
