Role: Fleet Account Manager
Location: Northwest Region
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17:30pm
Salary: £26,764 + £2,000 Performance related bonus once established in the role
As an integral part of our Fleet team, you will play a key role in driving our department's commercial success.
Working closely with the Fleet Commercial Operation, you will actively participate to enhance team performance, develop new and existing clients, support the wider Fleet / Branch Network, and contribute to the Call Centre (Taxi Department).
What You Will Be Doing
1. Utilising CRM system (Salesforce) to maintain updated files, customer outcomes, diary, lead, and opportunity cycle stages.
2. Ensuring accuracy on all data entries and submissions to facilitate smooth operations and SLA turnarounds.
3. Qualifying inbound and outbound leads (UTA - Universal Target Audience) to meet team KPIs.
4. Communicating professionally to build and maintain customer relationships and service quality.
5. Meeting and exceeding team and departmental KPIs & budgetary requirements.
6. Managing personal performance against targets and seeking continuous improvement.
7. Supporting industry connections and events to showcase Fleet products and source new business.
8. Assisting BDMs in maintaining prospects and converting new business.
9. Ensuring quality standards (compliance/audits) and customer service levels are met.
What We're Looking For
1. Insurance experience (preferable but not essential)
2. Account/Portfolio management experience (preferable)
3. Strong communication skills for engaging clients and insurance agents.
4. Sales skills: ability to identify opportunities and convert leads.
5. Ability to work independently.
6. Problem-solving skills for resolving client issues effectively.
7. Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
8. Knowledge of insurance products, coverage, and regulations.
9. Adaptability to industry and market changes.
10. Positive attitude, attention to detail, approachability, and networking ability.
