Overview
CCTV Engineer - Nationwide coverage. As a Field-based CCTV Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering installation and commissioning works across a range of client sites nationwide. The role involves system installation, commissioning, and client handover.
Responsibilities
* Complete CCTV installations in accordance with project specifications and industry standards
* Carry out full system commissioning and ensure successful handover to the client
* Attend sites to finalise installation works and complete commissioning activities
* Work collaboratively with other engineers on full CCTV installations when required
* Install standalone CCTV systems for a range of clients
* Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and other stakeholders
* Travel nationally to customer sites and remain flexible with overnight stays
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and site access requirements
* Maintain accurate installation, commissioning, and handover documentation
Who We're Looking For
* Demonstrable experience working as a CCTV Engineer or within a similar security systems role
* Strong working knowledge of CCTV systems, including installation and commissioning
* Experience working in commercial or retail environments is advantageous
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and stay away from home when required
* Full UK driving licence
* ECS card (essential for access to construction sites)
* IPAF licence (desirable); training can be provided for the right candidate
* High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Professional, customer-focused approach with strong communication skills
* Organised and capable of managing workloads to meet project deadlines
