Job Description:
* NRSWA Operative:
* Excavating, backfilling, and reinstating footpaths, roads, and drainage.
* Setting up and managing signing, lighting, and guarding (SLG).
* Working to health & safety (H&S) and NRSWA standards at all times.
* Liaising with supervisors and teams.
* Assist with the preparation and organisation of materials required for daily operations
* Support team members in completing tasks efficiently and accurately
* Follow established procedures and safety guidelines at all times
* Collaborate with colleagues to meet project deadlines and objectives
* Report any issues or irregularities to supervisors promptly
Hours of work would be Monday - Friday, days. Suitable candidates must have a driving licence and their own vehicle
Qualifications
* Understanding of NRSWA 1991, TMA 2004, reinstatement methods, SLG.
* Commitment to H&S, working to regulations
* CSCS card
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of work
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills
* Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities
