Summary of the Job:
The Asset Management Assistant will support the day-to-day operations of the One Nine Elms project, assisting in the overall management of property operations. The role will focus on administrative coordination, financial tracking, and operational support to ensure efficient and compliant asset management. Working closely with Commercial Director, the position will play a key role in maintaining smooth operations, supporting vendor coordination, and enhancing overall performance of the asset.
Job Responsibilities:
* Assist in the overall operational management of the One Nine Elms project
* Support the management and coordination of the Managing Agent to ensure service delivery standards are met
* Monitor and assist in managing operational budgets, cost control, and expenditure tracking
* Support commercial reconciliation and cash flow monitoring processes
* Handle administrative tasks including documentation, reporting, and record keeping
* Assist in managing defect (snagging) issues, including tracking, coordination, and customer communication
* Support health & safety processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including Building Safety requirements
* Assist in compliance monitoring and reporting to ensure all statutory and internal requirements are met
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and tenants/residents
* Provide general operational support to improve efficiency and effectiveness of asset management activities
Job Requirements:
* Previous experience in property management, asset management, or a related field is preferred.
* Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
* Basic understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Familiarity with compliance, health & safety, or building operations is advantageous.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with property management systems is a plus.
* Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Chinese is advantageous.
* Educational background in Architecture, MEP Engineering, Real Estate Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
