Key Roles & Responsibilities
* Advocate and integrate the webOS Expansion Platform with third party OEMs (Original equipment manufacturers) and brands
* Build sales strategy, pipeline, and close on TV brands adopting LG's webOS operating system by performing prioritization, term sheets, contract negotiation and ROI analysis.
* Develop overall plan to address the needs of third party brands and partners, in the following areas, but not limited to: marketing, incentive funding, and pricing lineup
* Develop regular cadences with the third parties, listen, consider improvements and communicate solutions
* Negotiate and support third party OEMs and licensed brands’ requirements for adoption of webOS
* Manage communications from multiple potential and current TV brands, OEMs and sourcing teams to improve the overall program and each partnership.
* Manage an innovative new business development area for LG, using all available tools to develop customized and successful relationships
* Liaise with Korea HQ all the progress and results of partnership initiatives to ensure clear alignment and wider communication between HQ and partners.
Required qualifications, skills and experience
* University degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
* Minimum 7 years of experience in business development, business alliance management, discovering partners, service commercialization with TV brands and manufacturing
* Strong experience in OTT / Broadcast / Media / Platform / Content / Online industry and services
* Demonstrated ability in discovering partnerships with global / local service providers, building business models, and leading the growth of the business by delivering incremental results
* Excellent negotiation skills and knowledge of contract agreement structure and business models
* Excellent communication skills with internal LG counterparts and external stakeholders, such as content providers and 3P tech partners
* Demonstrated experience in developing strong and trustful relationships with people with diverse cultural backgrounds
* Fluent in English (written and spoken) and at least one other European language
* Excellent competence in use of Microsoft Office software suite, especially Power Point, Word, Excel, Electronic mail
