Randstad is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Education Teaching Assistants to join our team, supporting schools in the Blackpool area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in fostering the educational development and well-being of secondary school students. Roles offered by schools will vary in duration, ranging from short to long term, and assignments will be based on your location, qualifications, experience, and preferences.
Position: Secondary Education Teaching Assistant
Salary: £80.00 - £100.00 per day
Location: Blackpool area
Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities:
1. Classroom Assistance: Collaborate with lead teachers to maintain an optimal learning environment in classrooms.
2. Individualised Support: Provide additional support and clarification on class materials to students individually or in small groups.
3. Behavioural Support: Utilise strategies to manage and address student behaviour, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
4. Resource Preparation: Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources to enhance lesson delivery effectiveness.
5. Communication: Maintain effective communication with teachers, parents, and stakeholders regarding student progress and concerns.
6. Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of students during breaks, lunchtimes, and other non-classroom settings.

Essential Requirements:

17. Experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or knowledge of learning difficulties.
18. Teaching Assistant (TA) qualification.
