Role Involves Shift: 1800 to 0600 Role split between Driving and Shunting & Strapping. While the emphasis is on Driving you will be required fulfil Shunting & Strapping duties as per business needs. Driving Mainly Night Trunking to regular destinations including Birmingham and Norwich Ensuring vehicles comply with legal requirements, reporting issues to your DC team Ensure the security and accuracy of delivery of the loads in your charge Following delivery instructions accurately and effectively Drive in a safe and efficient manner Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations Shunter/Load Strapping Safely securing and strapping loads across different loading bays, reporting any issues to the shift team leader, Ensuring curtains are closed and secured properly, Escorting LGV drivers to and from the Driver Safe Zone, Assisting with the unstrapping of paper deliveries, Assisting with photographing completed loads once secured, Doing yard shunting as and when required using Terberg Estimated Annual Gross Earnings c. £52,300 Bonuses Bonuses £6 per shift worked Retention Bonus (c. £1,300) SAFED Plus Fuel Bonus (max. c. £1000) The Above Figures Include Enhanced Rates after 40 hours Night Shift Bonus Company Pension Get paid 13 times a year (4 weekly).
