Our people are at the heart of our purpose to advance aviation and keep the skies safe Job Purpose/Overview The Senior Transformation and Improvement Manager role provides planning, oversight and the execution of initiatives that improve and transform the way Technical Services operates. This role works with Leadership to facilitate and oversee the seamless integration of strategy and technology, deliver capability development, and provide improvement consultancy This is a strategic leadership role which reports directly to the Head of Transformation but also works cross-functionally across the business to drive innovation and ensure that investment delivers value and sustainable growth Other Duties Include Partner with the Leadership Team to develop strategies that enable the organisation to adapt to changing market conditions, emerging technologies, and new business models Provide expert advice, guidance, and build key relationships with the leadership team and wider across the business; help to crystallise ideas into tangible outputs and create solutions to complex problems Lead transformation workstreams on behalf of the Leadership Team and in collaboration with Business Leads to deliver agreed outcomes and benefits Work within highly ambiguous environments to identify opportunities and deliver transformative change; ensuring budgets, personnel and technology assets are optimally utilised Engage and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels, instilling confidence, fostering collaboration, and securing buy-in Use data and analytics to make informed decisions, anticipate and manage potential challenges and maintain transparency through effective communication and reporting Manage the cultural and organisational shifts that comes with transformation Skills and Experience An accomplished, credible leader with well-developed change management, risk management, project management, influencing and negotiation skills Good honours degree in a numerate subject (which could be scientific, technical, or business oriented) or equivalent of knowledge acquired through experience, other qualifications, and training/development Demonstrable experience of forming, initiating, and managing end to end delivery of complex, multifunctional transformation within a changing environment A proven history of bringing industry best practice into an organisation and using this to drive continuous improvement Understanding of the concepts of Lean and Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies Leading outcome-driven delivery with high performing teams to time, cost, and quality You inspire others to the cause through positively influencing their worldview and demonstrating how to deliver enduring results You thrive on bringing clarity from ambiguity Additional Vacancy Information We are proud to offer a fantastic total reward package to help you thrive both personally and professionally - for more information on what NATS can offer you please visit Why NATS?
