On behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs we are looking for a Global Talent Acquisition Business Partner for 12 Month Day Rate Contract based in Derby. This is a hybrid working model, 3 days per week in the office.

Job Description - The Role

The Global Talent Acquisition Business and Partner serves as the strategic link between the Talent Acquisition function and designated divisional or functional business areas. Working as part of the People Partner teams, this role ensures that hiring strategies are fully aligned with workforce plans, business objectives, and organisational culture.

This individual partners closely with senior stakeholders, divisional leadership, and People Partners to deliver high-quality, proactive talent solutions while maintaining a strong connection to the central TA Operations team and collaborating hand-in-hand with the relevant Regional TA Lead.

What you'll do:

* Act as a strategic Talent Acquisition partner to business leaders and People Partners, building strong, trusted relationships and translating workforce plans and business priorities into clear, actionable hiring strategies aligned to divisional goals
* Provide informed guidance and challenge to stakeholders using market intelligence, talent insights, and competitor benchmarking to shape hiring approaches, timelines, and attraction strategies
* Collaborate closely with Regional TA Leads to align divisional demand with hiring capacity, ensuring pipelines are prioritised effectively and delivery remains consistent across locations
* Partner with RPO providers and Centres of Excellence (including Employer Brand and Attraction) to drive a seamless, high-quality end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a strong and consistent candidate experience
* Support and deliver targeted recruitment campaigns and talent initiatives tailored to divisional needs, leveraging multiple channels and working across Emerging Talent, Contingent, and Executive hiring to provide a joined-up TA approach
* Maintain clear oversight of all divisional hiring activity, ensuring adherence to recruitment governance, policy, and process, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks
* Produce and present regular reporting, insights, and market intelligence to senior stakeholders, including Divisional People Directors, to track performance, inform decision-making, and support continuous improvement
* Contribute to broader Talent Acquisition strategy by sharing divisional insights, best practice, and lessons learned, helping to drive consistency and innovation across the wider TA function

The skills you'll need:

* Proven experience in Talent Acquisition partnering within a complex, matrixed organisation.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior leadership level.
* Demonstrated ability to balance strategic business partnering with operational delivery.
* Deep understanding of recruitment best practice, market trends, and workforce planning principles.
* Excellent communication, data literacy, and problem-solving capabilities.
* Comfortable working across multiple geographies, cultures, and stakeholder groups.
* Commercially savvy, with a strategic mindset and consultative approach.
* Collaborative and relationship-oriented - thrives in cross-functional teams.
* Agile and adaptable, able to balance competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
* Passionate about talent, diversity, and creating exceptional hiring experiences.
