Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior PNT (positioning, navigation and timing) specialist to further his/her skills and ambition in the satellite sector.
You’ll be working for a global company at the forefront of maritime, aviation, government and enterprise satellite communications. More specifically, you’ll lead systems design, modelling and analysis projects for all aspects of advanced satellite navigation systems for the International Government market sector, identifying key concepts and capabilities for further investigation and engineering development.
As part of a friendly strategic engineering team, you’ll immediately take responsibility for delivering PNT aspects for a small number of critical, high value projects in both pre-contract and post-contract stages.
You’ll be a self-motivated individual with a rigorous understanding of PNT aspects and desire to envisage their "productisation", particularly with regard to timing (end-to end GPS systems and one-way/two-way time transfer capabilities). It is hoped the individual hire could step up to lead the PNT area for the International Government team.
Character is all. You’ll be an excellent communicator and visionary keen to take on ambitious systems analysis and modelling tasks to deliver genuinely innovative solutions.
