The Rock Climbing Instructor role:
Chichester College Sports Centre is seeking to recruit a fully qualified Rock Climbing Instructor to teach between our four walls based at Chichester, Midhurst, Bognor Regis & Hayling.
You will hold a recognised Mountain training qualification; Climbing Wall Instructor, Rock Climbing Instructor or higher.
The ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all ages and levels is essential, as is experience of assessing, training and coaching, including working with students or children.
Key Responsibilities of our Rock Climbing Instructor:
To lead group sessions and clubs, which includes teaching safe indoor climbing practices.
To ensure all customer enquiries/complaints are dealt with promptly and professionally.
Our ideal Rock Climbing Instructor should have the following skills and experience:
An understanding of the principles of coaching
Flexible approach to work
