Job Title: Transport Planner
Salary: £26,000 - £27,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: · Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 07:30am – 16:00 pm
· Thursday: 07:30am – 15:00 pm

Job Purpose: At Deanta UK Ltd and our sister company Precision Door Solutions Ltd, we take pride in our reputation for quality and customer satisfaction. As we continue to grow rapidly, we are expanding our fleet to support the efficient planning and delivery of our products. We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Transport Planner in our Ely depot to oversee the planning and control of our transport routes. This role is crucial for maintaining our commitment to timely service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and manage optimized transport routes to ensure efficient use of resources.
· Coordinate with the warehouse, drivers, customer service and sales teams to ensure seamless planning and delivery.
· Monitor and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in demand, road conditions, and other variables.
· Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies.
· Complete and print load plans and manifest and communicate these.
· Communicate with drivers and other team members to ensure any issues are resolved promptly.
Skills and Experience Required:
· Good organisational skills, able to multi-task.
· Ability to communicate instructions effectively verbally and in writing.
· Good decision-making skills.
