About the Role
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to support primary and secondary schools in and around Haywards Heath. Many of our partner schools are located in rural settings, so driving is essential for this role.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting pupils with a range of SEND, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
* Working 1:1 or in small groups to support learning and development
* Assisting teachers in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons
* Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
* Adapting resources to meet individual student needs
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children or young people with SEND (preferred but not essential)
* A patient, caring, and proactive attitude
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for supporting young people
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3 or equivalent) are desirable
