The ExtraCare Charitable Trust are recruiting for a part time Bar Host to join our friendly hospitality teamat our Wixams Retirement Village based in Bedford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bar Host to join our friendly team at our Wixams Retirement Village and support the village’s commitment in delivering ExtraCare’s mission of “better lives for older people.
1. Position: Bar Host
2. Hourly Rate: £13.23 per hour
3. Hours: 16hrs per week
4. Location: Wixams Retirement Village, Bedford Road, Bedford, MK42 6EA
ExtraCare does not participate in the current “UK Visa Sponsorship” scheme, and we would not be able to facilitate sponsorship.
What will you do as our Bar Host?
5. Welcome all customers and provide a professional, helpful, and friendly service.
6. Support in arranging bar entertainments.
7. Carry out quality training, supervision or coaching of our bar volunteers or other staff.
8. Carry out stock control procedures and ensure all stock takes are carried out correctly.
9. Positively promote sales awareness within the bar team.
10. Be aware of who the personal License Holder is, and challenge suspected underage drinking.

12. Have previous experience or customer service experience.
13. Have empathy towards our residents.
14. Able to work as part of a team and is flexible.
