Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide direct care to members supporting and promoting their independence, choice, dignity and overall wellbeing.
* Care activities include washing, showering, bathing, promoting continence, assisting with toileting, dressing, food and fluid intake, mobility.
* Ensure members are aware of and participate in developing Person‑Centred Care Plans with the Named Nurse and the Member.
* Use moving and handling equipment, wheelchairs and specific mobility aids; support dietary needs and specialist aids.
* Report faults and maintain equipment safely.
* Support and participate in meaningful activities and therapies for members.
* Work flexibility within contracted hours (days, nights, weekends, bank holidays); sign opt‑out clause under Working Time Directives.
Eligibility
Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK or obtain permits to work in the UK prior to application. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates during the recruitment process.
Skills and Qualifications
Broad knowledge of the care sector and understanding of dementia. Excellent communication skills, outgoing personality, positive work ethic, high attention to detail, good physical stamina & mobility.
