As Electronics Workshop Manager, you will take ownership of the day‑to‑day running of our electronics workshop. You will ensure that wiring looms, sensors, control units and electronic assemblies are built, inspected and tested to the highest possible standards, while driving continuous improvement across processes, tooling, documentation and ways of working. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring compliance with FIA regulations and our own internal performance, safety and reliability standards. Key Responsibilities Managing daily workshop operations, including planning, prioritisation and performance management. Overseeing the build, inspection, test and sign‑off of all electronic assemblies for race, test and simulator applications. Identifying and driving improvements in workshop processes, tooling, efficiency and quality. Collaborating with Electronics Design, T&D, Quality and Production teams to meet deadlines and resolve technical challenges. Maintaining robust documentation, traceability and compliance systems aligned with internal standards and FIA regulations. Managing equipment, calibration schedules, inventory and workshop resources to maximise productivity. Supporting wider team and management requests as required. Coaching, developing and guiding team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to excel. Setting clear responsibilities, objectives and expectations across the workshop team. Creating a culture of excellence, accountability and proactive problem‑solving. Supporting recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of new team members. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Strong technical experience in wiring harness prototyping/manufacture. Significant senior‑level experience within a motorsport electronics environment. Hands‑on experience with electrical assembly and rework (rigs, panels, motors, test equipment, etc.). Knowledge of PCB assembly (surface‑mount) and sensor/actuator calibration would be advantageous. A self‑motivated approach with the ability to motivate and develop others. Confidence working under pressure, balancing multiple deadlines and delivering results.
